The term NERF® battle or NERF® war describes a game or set of games played in which players or teams face off using NERF® brand foam dart blasters. The game(s) are played on a field and may involve gameplay similar to laser tag or capture-the-flag. 

Our rental packages contain genuine NERF® brand Elite series blasters that are recommended for ages 8+ by the manufacturer. We do not offer higher velocity NERF® Hyper or NERF® Rival blasters that shoot foam balls rather than darts. 

The manufacturer of the NERF® blasters recommends all players and other individuals within range of the field of play wear eye protection during game play. Our rental includes (16) child-size safety goggles, divided by team color. 

We recommend setting up your playing field outdoors on a grass surface free from hazardous obstacles. Our rental package includes (8) inflatable barriers, often referred to as bunkers, ranging in size from 3' wide x 5' high to to 9' wide x 9' high. Each bunker can be secured using the included bungee cords and plastic yard stakes to prevent movement of the bunker. 

A playing field measuring approximately 50' x 100', or around the size of a basketball court is typically suitable for play, although larger fields or those containing additional natural barriers such as trees or shrubs may also be suitable for play. 

A responsible adult is required for inflation and setup of the inflatable barriers or bunkers and should evaluate the entire playing field for potential hazards prior to play. 

Our rental package includes (8) inflatable barriers, often referred to as bunkers, ranging in size from 3' wide x 5' high to to 9' wide x 9' high, along with a 5HP electric dry vac/blower that is used to inflate and deflate each bunker. Each bunker can be secured using the included bungee cords and plastic yard stakes to prevent movement of the bunker. 

If your selected play field does not have electricity available for the 5HP electric dry vac/blower, you can also use a battery or gas-powered leaf blower to inflate the bunkers, although they may take longer to fully inflate. 

Important: Do not over-inflate the bunkers/barriers. The goal of the electric blower is to rapidly fill the bunkers with air without pressurizing them beyond 1-2 PSI. The bunkers should stand at full height, but should be soft to the touch. Over-inflating bunkers may cause damage to the equipment and/or injury to the person inflating. 

A responsible adult can inflate and secure all of the inflatable barriers or bunkers in approximately 30-minutes. If playing on an outdoor grass surface, you will need a hammer or rubber mallet (not included) to secure the plastic stakes into the ground. If playing indoors, the included bungee cords can be secured to tent/canopy weights or sandbags (not included) to prevent movement of the bunkers during game play.

NERF® blasters are a popular recreational toy, and the games that can be played are limited only by the player's imagination. Most parties involve several rounds of games that are sure to keep players occupied for hours! 

Some of the popular NERF party games include:

Capture the Flag - Players are divided into two teams, starting at opposite ends of the playing field. A traffic cone or other safe holder is used to hold a team colored flag. The goal of the game is to capture the opposing team's flag and return it to your "home base" without being hit by a foam dart shot by the opposing team. 

Team Deathmatch - Each team attempts to eliminate all players on the opposing team. 

Humans vs. Zombies - The "human" team must defend their base against invading zombies. A modified version of this game is played where only the humans are armed with NERF blasters, while "zombies" use colored corn starch balls (not included, available at chameleoncolors.com)  to "infect" the humans. Can the humans eliminate all of the zombies before they run out of ammo? 

Freeze Tag - Players are frozen when hit with a dart and can only be unfrozen when tagged by a member of their own team. The goal is to freeze all of the members of the opposing team. 

Protect the President - A small group of body guards, armed only with pistol-style blasters, must successfully defend the President and move him to a secure location without allowing the other team to hit him with a foam dart. 

NERF® games can be played in most weather conditions, including cold weather. For the safety of players and to prevent damage to the equipment, bunkers or barriers should be fully deflated and stored in an indoor space when high winds (exceeding 20 mph), rain, or lighting are expected. 

NERF® parties can be hosted outdoors year-round, although the most popular time to host an outdoor NERF party in the Columbus, Ohio area is between March and November. Parties can also be hosted indoors in a gymnasium, ballroom, or other large indoor event space. 

We offer free pick-up and drop-off of our rental equipment in Marysville, Ohio by appointment during scheduled hours, which vary by season. See website for details. 

We also offer affordable delivery of our party rental equipment within a 25-mile radius of Marysville. Delivery pricing varies by distance and is calculated during checkout. Our NERF party rental package can be delivered to Central Ohio cities, including Dublin, Plain City, Powell, Delaware, Richwood, Ostrander, Hilliard, and Lewis Center. 

Reservation Deposit

A deposit equal to 20% of the rental price is due at the time of booking to reserve your rental, with the remaining balance due at the time of pick-up. This deposit is a part of the rental fee. 

NERF party package rentals cancelled for any reason at least 72 prior to the event date are eligible for a full refund. Deposits are non-refundable for rentals cancelled less than 72 hours prior to the rental start date/time, but may be rescheduled one time without penalty, subject to availability.

Security Deposit

In addition to the reservation deposit, which secures your reservation of the rental equipment and is a percentage of the total rental fee for the item(s) rented, we charge a refundable security deposit, which is due at the time of pick-up or delivery. This deposit protects against damage and/or loss of our equipment and helps us to keep our rental prices low. 

Our current security deposit for the NERF Battle party rental package is $150.  

In most instances, the refundable security deposit is released back to the credit or debit card on file within 72-hours of the return of your rental items, however your issuing bank may hold the funds for up to 10 business days. 

Our rental equipment is inspected, tested, and cleaned prior to each rental. The renter agrees to return all rented item(s) without significant signs of wear or damage, and with all parts and accessories. In the event that rental item(s) are returned missing parts and/or accessories; with damage; or with excess wear and tear, the we may assess damage, repair, or replacement fees up to the full value of the Security Deposit, and may invoice the Renter for additional repair or replacement costs up to the actual repair or current replacement cost of the item(s), which shall be due immediately upon request. 

In the event that rental item(s) are returned dirty, we may assess a cleaning fee of up to $100 per item, which will be charged against the security deposit.

Cancel for Any Reason

**Weather Guarantee**

Our weather guarantee allows customers to reschedule or cancel their rental prior to the scheduled start time and receive a full refund if the hourly weather forecast for the zip code of the party location, as reflected on weather.com, shows a 50% or greater chance of rain and/or forecasted winds in excess of 20 miles per hour at the scheduled start time of the rental. This policy supersedes the cancel for any reason policy above.
